AllTech Automotive
Ive been using Alltech for years but was really disappointed when I took in my car to have the AC repaired which included replacing the compressor and a recharge and they wanted to charge $2500 to do the work that would take a week to complete. I took it elsewhere and it only cost $920 and they threw in a free drive belt. I guess Alltech needed to pay for that new big shop so now they can overcharge their regular costumers. $1500 over charge that would've paid a few bills. No thanks!
Randy, We're sorry if it was not communicated to you that our recommendation was to replace more than just the AC compressor. When an AC compressor fails there are multiple other items that need to be replaced to obtain a warranty on the repair. Our quote to repair your vehicle included replacing the compressor, condenser, drier and both expansion valves (your vehicle is equipped with front and rear AC) as well as flushing the system with a solvent to remove any contaminates or debris from the failed compressor. Replacing these items is critical in the longevity of repairs to your air conditioning and are part of what allows us to offer the 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on our repairs. We are selective about what brand parts we install especially when it comes to air conditioning repairs to ensure this longevity and performance and with todays supply chain issues it takes a while to get some parts which was why we couldn't have your vehicle repaired until next week. We would be more than happy to review your invoice from your other repair facility to be able to compare what was done if you would like. Thank you for your feedback Randy, we are glad that you were able to get your vehicle repaired to your standards in a timely manner
